My initial appointment was on 2/17/18. I called head to let the know what was wrong and that I had the extended warranty. When I arrived they wanted me to pay out of pocket because the warranty office was closed. This should have been verified before I brought my truck in. Once everything was rescheduled the service was great. But I am unhappy with how my first appointment went.
I made an appointment for an oil change for 10am on Friday. I did let my advisor know that I would be running errands, but I would be in the area to be back right away when my car was ready( as I had other things to do that day).My car was there for over 6 hours. I don’t see the point in having an appointment if my car is going to sit in the shop all day long. My advisor didn’t even seem to be bothered that my car had been there all day. He didnt care one bit that I had tried to call him multiple times to check on my car either. I don’t know about other people but when I make an appointment I expect my car to be taken care of within a timely manner. I don’t have the time the wait around a dealership for over 6 hours for just an oil change.
I had a 1pm appointment on Saturday and I had to get down my car to get somebody's attention. very unorganized !!!Nearly 5 o'clock and I had to call to see if my car was ready keep in mind they close at 5 on a Saturday. I asked for a complimentary wash and vacuum once I picked up my car it was a half wash and my car was not vacuumed.
An advisor recommended work for my car that was unnecessary. I had 2K miles before my next oil change, and I was told I needed an oil change. I was told that I needed both a 4-cylinder and a 6-cylinder tune-up. My car is a 4-cylinder. I was also told that I needed an alignment. I had one done at Munday in December. I came in to have work done to address the check engine light. I received unrelated recommendations that totaled over $1500. I commend Kyle Mixon for taking care of this matter. My wife and I use Munday exclusively for the care of our automobiles. And we were both very disappointed in the fact that the advisor failed to check the history of work done on both our cars before recommending very costly work.
