Chevrolet Tops J.D. Power China Customer Satisfaction Study
Shanghai - Chevrolet finished No. 1 among 42 vehicle brands in the 2010 China Customer Service Index study by J.D. Power Asia Pacific. Chevrolet, a brand of Shanghai GM, scored 875 on a 1,000-point scale.
The J.D. Power study measures customer satisfaction in maintenance
or repair work at the authorized dealership between 12 and 24 months of
vehicle ownership. The survey addresses five key factors: service
quality, vehicle pickup, service initiation, service advisor and
service facility.
"We are very pleased with the satisfaction of customers in one of
our industry's fastest-growing brands," said Kevin Wale, President and
Managing Director of the GM China Group. "Ensuring an enjoyable
shopping and ownership experience is a priority for GM and all of our
dealerships across China."
Shanghai GM offers a growing lineup of Chevrolet products, from the
entry-level New Sail family to the Epica intermediate sedan and Captiva
SUV. On July 28, Shanghai GM sold its 1 millionth Chevrolet vehicle
since introducing the brand in 2005.
