Chevrolet has joined forces with
the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Viacom, and the Get Schooled
Foundation to encourage school attendance and up graduation rates in Detroit
schools. Seventeen schools will compete in a friendly competition to score
points for school attendance and participation in special activities, such as a
video contest, trivia quizzes, and signing up for wake-up calls every morning from
